Saying Goodbye to 6th Class of 2021

On the 25th of June 2021, we held our 6th Class Graduation. The Graduation started with a visit from Rev. Alec Purser who kindly gave the children a pen from the Parish. This was a lovely gesture and the children really appreciated the gift and words of wisdom from Alec-so thank you Alec for visiting our school and for your kind gift.

In the afternoon, the Graduation ceremony was held. It started with a few words from Principal Ms Buggie who wished the children success and best wishes for their adventure to Secondary Education. She thanked them for all that they contributed to Maryborough NS over the last 8 years. The children then proceeded to read their memories over the last 8 years in Maryborough NS and they were lovely. Following the memories, Miss Fitzgerald read out a Graduation reflection ‘I Believe’ to wish all of her pupils in 6th Class every success in their future. The children were presented with a certificate and a personalised water bottle to congratulate them. The ceremony ended with a photo presentation of the children’s time in school over the last 8 years. A HUGE thank you to Mrs Breslin for keeping and giving the photos that made the photo presentation what it was. There were lots of tears and laughter during the Photos as the children happily reflected on their last years in Primary School. A HUGE Congratulations to the outgoing 6th Class and all the best in your Secondary Education. We are so proud of you all!

Check out some of the photos from the very special day!
