Tis the season!
What an incredible term it has been in Maryborough NS. Junior Infants to 2nd Class went to the Dunamaise to see a Christmas Play. 3rd to 6th Class have started Athletics. Buuuuut most importantly we had Grandparents Day on the 6th of December. The children wore christmas jumpers and set up game stations in the hall where the grandparents came and played old and new games whilst they enjoyed a cuppa! It really was a special day for all the grandparents and children. On the 13th of December the school held a Church Service where Junior Infants to 2nd Class recited a Christmas Poem and sang Frosty the Snowman. 3rd and 4th Class played the tin whistle and violins accompanied by the lovely Ms Buggie and Ms Dunne and 5th and 6th Class sang Christmas songs. It was a beautiful service. Well done to all involved. Well done to all the children and staff who have completed an excellent term and we wish all the families of Maryborough NS a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We will see everyone in 2020! Check out the lovely grandparents who visited our school. Thank you for a GREAT day!
Maryborough has got Talent!
On the 19th of December, Maryborough children took to the stage to show off their talents. There were talents of singing, dancing, magic tricks, instruments, a puppet show and even playdough among many others! Check out some of the talents in the pictures below! We were very impressed with them all! Well done!
