What a wonderful day we had on our school tour to Castlecomer Discovery Park with our fantastic 1st and 2nd Class pupils! Under the warm summer sun, the children explored nature like real scientists, investigating the health of the river by gently collecting and examining tiny water insects — a hands-on way to learn about clean and polluted water. They also showed great teamwork and bravery on the low ropes course, helping each other balance, climb, and laugh their way through the challenges. One of the biggest highlights was the bouncy net trampoline — a joyful, giggly experience that had everyone leaping through the trees with huge smiles! It was a day full of learning, laughter, and lasting memories. We’re so proud of their curiosity, kindness, and courage!
