On the 14th of January a Geologist from Laois County Council visited Maryborough NS. Her name was Michelle and we all learned so much! Michelle visited the classes from Junior Infants to 4th Class where she explained where water comes from, how to save it and introduced the children to all different types of rocks. This was a very important visit for us because we are aiming to achieve our Green Water Flag this year with all the help of the Green Schools Committee and Ms Dunphy!
